Data protection and privacy
We are committed to protecting your privacy. For the purpose of
the Data Protection Act 1998 (the "Act"), the data controller is
Student Information Services Ltd (SIS).
We may collect and process the following data about you:-
Information that you provide by filling in forms on our Site.
This includes information provided at the time of registering to
use our Site, subscribing to our service, posting material or
requesting further services. We may also ask you for information
when you enter a competition or promotion sponsored by us, and when
you report a problem with our Site.

analysing use of our Site including but not limited to, ensuring

our service or prize draws when you choose to do so and to notify

our other users for research purposes. We do this in order to

available your IP address, operating system and browser type, for
system administration. This is statistical data about our user's
browsing actions and patterns, and does not identify users.

Children's data protection and
privacy
We only ask children for personal information as is reasonably
necessary to enable us to send them newsletters or run
competitions. We do not share children's information with third
parties. We instruct children under the age of 12 to get the
permission of their parent or guardian before they enter any
personal details on our Site. We do not publish children's details
on the Site unless they have won a competition in which case we may
publish the child's first name, age and nearest town. We do not ask
children to send us any photos and we will not publish photos
without first obtaining permission.
Access to Information
The Act gives you the right to access information held about
you. Your right to access can be exercised in accordance with the
Act. Any access request may be subject to a fee of £10 to meet our
costs in providing you with details of the information we hold
about you.
